Services to at Risk Youth (STAR) with reduce the risk for and prevent the occurrence of abuse and neglect, running away, truancy, abandonment, family conflict, and delinquent behavior by providing timely and appropriate services to at-risk youth 0 - 17 years of age and their families in Nueces County. This grant is funded through Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
What is the STAR Youth Program?
A program that works to reduce risk for, and prevent the occurrence of abuse and neglect, running away, truancy, abandonment, family conflict and delinquent behaviors.
Who is eligible?
Youth ages 0-17 and their families who meet one of the following criteria:
Runaway Youth
Truant Youth
Family Conflict
Delinquent Youth
The program is strength-based and solution focused.
